J.A. Hughes Elementary School is part of the Red Lake Falls School District and located in Red Lake Falls, MN. We are a growing Preschool-6th grade school with primarily two sections per grade level. Students at J.A. Hughes benefit from the Board of Education’s commitment to a low student-to-teacher ratio. This commitment allows us to provide a safe and caring environment focusing on both the academic and social-emotional needs of students. We work each day to promote the J.A. Lafayette High School is located in a rural community with approximately 1700 residents and is an oasis in Northwest Minnesota situated between the Clearwater and Red Lake Rivers.
With approximately 185 students in grades 7-12, students and teachers have the benefit of small class sizes. Lafayette has implemented 1:1 learning with the implementation of Chrome-books for each student. The school has implemented the college and career readiness program, Ramp Up to Readiness, for all students in order to help better prepare them for life after Lafayette.
